
Guardian Weekend Magazine published this very simple Rye bread recipe yesterday which I'm very excited about. I haven't attempted it yet but will certainly do so this week once I have stocked my cupboard with cider and rye flour. I'm hoping it is as simple as it looks and I can manage to organise myself enough to pull it off. From the accompanying picture it looks a lot like Soda Bread which my Irish mother often fed me as a child and which I miss dearly.
I will update again when I've had a go and will be sure to provide pictorial evidence of my efforts. The picture accompanying this blog came from the Guardian website.
