Gluten-Free Pub Grub

Yes we publi-can: Gluten-free menu at The Shoulder of Mutton

Personally, I dread going to restaurants at the moment as I rarely find something on the menu I like that I am ok to eat - it's always a compromise.

A friend told me about this - I've not been yet but I think i will be paying a visit this weekend!

It's little country pub in Kirkby Overblow (FYI, the 2nd k in Kirkby is silent??!!).

Here is their Gluten-Free Menu which to my delight includes beer!

Can't wait to try it - I will let you know if it's as good as it sounds...

Fresh Homemade Soup
Served with buttered brown bread £3.95

Homemade Chicken Liver Pate
Served withbrown toast £4.95

Salad of Pan Fried Queenie Scallops* with toasted pine nuts, roquette & fresh parmesan £5.95

Potted Whitby Crab* With corriander and toasted soda bread £5.50

*can be served as a main course with a £4.00 supplement

Braised joint of Masham lamb served in a mint and redcurrant gravy £12.95

Grilled Malton Gammon Steak
